Brass Bowl

Snugged up on the north west side of the Kennedy Street bridge over the Hillsborough River, next to Malios is this wonderful little piece of artwork(?) that shows the world just how commited this crew is.

At first I thought it would be easy to identify the college/university, but the blade design is throwing me.  Of the schools with P’s and large cats, we have Princeton Tigers and the Penn State Nittany Lions.  But according to Blades of the World, neither of those schools have oars anything like what is drawn.

And to think that Pam Iorio wants to paint over such heartfelt sentiments.
