Pioneer Florida Museum – Porter 4-6-0
This locomotive on permanent display at the Pioneer Florida Museum was built in December 1913 by H. K. Porter, Inc. It was used by the Cummer Sons Cypress Company to haul lumber for 50 years.

In the image below you can see a copper plate attached to one of three very large cypress trees, It reads;
RED TIDEWATER EXPRESS
LOGS CONTAIN ABOUT 80021 FT. OF LUMBER
ESTIMATED AGE OF TREES – 524 YEARS
