"Dog Days of Summer" – Stephanie Grimes
Working in watercolors, oil painting, pastels and bronze sculpture, Stephanie Grimes produces amazing works of art showcasing her love of nature. Some of her selected works are on display at the Kotler Art Gallery in the John F. Germany Public Library (900 N. Ashley) from August 1 through August 30, 2009. Below are two images of her work. I have kept these images small in order to preserve the integrity of her work. If you want to see the art full size, then drop by the gallery.

If you would like to meet Ms. Grimes, there will be Reception on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the John F. Germany Public Library. You can also visit her website at www.artist-f.com
I stumbled upon “the Brass Bowl” by accident. I was very surprised and delighted to find my artwork on your website. When I set up “The Dog Days of Summer Exhibit” in the downtown library back in August, I was not sure of how many people would notice it other than the regular homeless that frequent the area. I now know that at least one person other than my personal friends came out to see the exhibit and liked it enough to post it on his website. Thank-you.
