Dramatic Cloud Shot
We were on our second lap at Flatwoods, when we noticed this cloud. After several shots through the trees, we finally came to an open space and I knew I had my picture. We were looking east, and it was 8:00 PM, give or take five minutes.

That’s way cool!
The ‘terrorist’ and I were getting wiper blades in Wesley Chapel and saw this, too. I told him that I figured someone was getting a bunch of rain out of the bottom of it. His reply was something about how it just couldn’t be a rain cloud since it was white instead of gray. There was another one that looked similar to the north of this one. Neat shot!
Yes there was. It had a much smaller anvil top, but it showed some shear, while this one was almost symmetrical.
I LOVE these. The Stratocumulonimbus (Thunderheads)
