Brass Bowl

Hillsborough County has put the tree up in Courthouse Square, and is busy decorating it.  On December 4, starting at 5:00pm, there will be a free Holiday Festival, brought to you by the Hillsborough County Commissioners and the Friends of the County Parks.  Here is a link to the official new release. Free soda’s, hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn.  And REAL SNOW!!!  The fun runs until 9:00pm.

From everyone at the Brass Bowl, we wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.  Here is one of the foods that to me will always be synonymous with Thanksgiving:  Green Bean Casserole.

Nestled between some trees and bushes is…..a little stagecoach.  I don’t know why.  I’m not sure I want to know.  It would spoil the flotsam.

I must have walked past this piece a hundred times.  It is located on the west side of New City Hall in the beginning of the Franklin Mall.

I can see two serious errors in this picture.  How many do you see?

The first error on the part of the driver was to go the wrong way down a one way street.  The second, and more serious error, was to argue with the police. 

You don’t argue with a cop.  You let your attorney argue your case in court.

She almost got arrested.  She did get a number of tickets.  And a entry in the Brass Bowl Hall of Shame.
