Henderson Building
I have always admired this building. The small ornate touches showcase the craftmanship used to build it. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find out much about it. The Hillsborough County Property Appraiser website indicates it was built in 1900, but that could be the earliest date the website can enter.
It looks well-tended, and I’m sure there was a restoration done sometime recently, but no information pops out of my searches.

If anyone knows more about this structure, please leave a comment.
A skating rink opened on the third floor of a “Henderson Building” on Feb. 7, 1896. Unfortunately, that “Henderson Building” is supposed to be at the corner of Cass & Marion. Unless something is incorrect, it’s not the same place.

I’ve seen the building in your photo before, but can’t recall exactly where. Do you have an address?
306 E. Tyler, between Franklin and Florida.
I don’t think the third floor would be big enough for a skating rink. I could be wrong, but the intersection of Cass and Marion has the new Federal Building (SW), it’s dedicated parkling lot (SE), a public lot (NE), and the back of the Floridan (NW).
Perhaps Mr. Henderson had more than one building.
