Uptown Tampa
Located at the intersection of Franklin Street and Tyler Street, this is one of many works practically donated by local artists to aid in the renovation of Uptown, the area between downtown and Tampa Heights . Caesar A. Carbajal, Elio Lopez, Jeff Jacoby, Chad Fisher, Dominique Martinez (remember the Dragon?}, Jimmy Vann and Terry Klaaren are just some of the artists that have contributed their works to brighten the area. The pictured sculpture is by Chad Fisher and is titled Hard Water. The Tampa Tribune did an much more extensive article back in late March on this effort.
