Solstice by Charles O. Perry

Sitting in the Bank of America plaza here in Tampa, this sculpture has been described as a two thirds twist triangular torus mobius. Now that is a mouthful, and I don’t think I could say it quickly twice. But I can say that I like the piece. All the curves give it a sinuous look, that contrasts with the stainless steel construction. This was a private commission for the then Barnett Plaza.
