Groundbreaking for Tampa Museum of Art
I took a stroll Friday down to the future site of the TMA, and happened upon the ground breaking for the new building. It was a who’s who of Tampa people, the most notable being Pam, whose “walk with a purpose” demeanor convinced me to ease off the padded walkway and let her by. She didn’t look like she was in the mood to have her picture taken, so I declined to stick a camera in her face. Perhaps she got the buffet bill.

I did like the fireboat. I guess I’m still really ten years old at heart, ’cause fire trucks and fire boats still bring a wide eyed “Hey lookit” response from me.
