Veritas et Justicia
This is one of the better works of art that the county has commissioned. The artist, Audrey Flack, generally works in a feminine form, in the classical Greek line, but with a more humanistic slant, at least in my low brow opinion.
Still, at $400k, this is a bit pricey for public art. But after walking past her for almost a year, I have to say, I like her. There is a lot of detail here, things that are only noticed after a second, third, tenth, twentieth, hundreth time of looking at her.
